Terms and Conditions of Villa Serenity, Villa YinYang and the Yoga Shala Dormitory

Payment:
Villa Serenity and Villa YinYang price is inclusive for breakfast, electricity, gas, WiFi, gardeners, room service. Tax is included in the price, 10%gov’t tax and 5% service charge (, welcome drink, towels, bed sheets, etc.). There is however a one time 20,000 IDR police tax. We remind all guests to hand in their passport for inspection by the local authority upon checking in.
The Yoga Shala dormitory price is inclusive for breakfast(for one person) room service, tax, water and electricity.
The price agreed by the management and client is confidential; the management cannot be sued for giving a higher or lower price to certain clients.
We can arrange for Airport pick-up if you provide us with your arrival. Our pick is 150,000 IDR per journey.
Registration, Deposit and Final Payment:
To validate your reservation, 50% of the total fee must be paid. Villa Serenity uses a “first come first served” policy; the first to deposit becomes the first to validate their reservation.
The deposit can directly be paid in cash to the reception or by swift international bank transfer. Below are the following accounts:

Note: All fees are to be paid in Indonesian Rupiah. Villa Serenity is not responsible for incurred bank fees, fluctuating rates or any other factor that changes the total payment requested in IDR.
The full amount of payment or the remaining 50% of the total fee in IDR must be paid before check in.
Without deposit the reservation is not valid and it may be cancelled without notice.
Check in: between 2pm and 12am
Checking in much later than 12am will incur the same fees; no discounts can be given for checking in late.
Please when checking in earlier or much later, the management must be notified in advance.
Check out: before 1pm
If checking out later than 1pm, additional fees will be added to the final bill.
However the management is attentive to all your special requests if notified at least a day before checking out.
In the case of cancellation after a 50% deposit has been given, the deposit cannot be refunded.
If the client is unable to arrive in Villa Serenity due to uncontrollable external events like natural disasters, then the client can choose to reserve the villa for another period. However the management needs to be notified as it will depend on booking availability.

Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner):
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our dishes are fresh and healthy local /and intercontinental meals. Also available is freshly caught seafood, brought in by fisherman daily. However lunch and dinner is not included in the rates shown above, breakfast is included.
Breakfast is a package meal, additional items to the package will be charged accordingly.
(Except for special promotions given by management.)
Please notify the management at least half a day in advance for lunch and dinner.
A lunch or dinner package is 50,000 IDR.
Requested additional items in addition to the package meal may incur a cost which will be added to the final bill.
Health and Security:
Villa serenity management is not responsible for any accidents to the guest, their family or their invitees that happened in and out of the premises of Villa Serenity.
In the case of an emergency, a car can be assigned or an ambulance can be called to bring a patient to any appointed hospital or emergency centre.
Using any of Villa Serenity’s facilities is at the guests own risk. The swimming pool has no safety fence; babies and young children should be under constant supervision. Guests should not fiddle with the pool machinery or electric systems. As the pool is a salt water system, please refrain on using sunscreen or take a shower before dipping into the pool. Villa Serenity cannot be held responsible for any loss of items. All personal belongings should be put in the safety boxes available or stored in the reception.
Most of the roofs of Villa Serenity are made of straw and are therefore highly flammable, please be careful when having a BBQ or lighting a fire/match/lighter. It is also forbidden to smoke or light a fire inside the bed to protect the mosquito net.
Fines:
Damage to any of Villa Serenity’s assets such as kitchen utilities, furniture or any other item will need to be reimbursed by the guest. The fine will be added to the final bill.
The Meditation Room:
The meditation room is a holy place; any guest who would like to pray there can do so. Sex, drug and intoxication practices are not allowed here.
The Yoga Hall:
Guests are free to use the yoga hall and our sports area at will.
Special Requests:
If the guests has pets or has a special condition/request please notify management at least a week before check in to gain approval and so we can prepare the lodging.
Villa Serenity I & II has a capacity of 4 and 7 people respectively.
In the case where the numbers of guests residing at any of the villas exceed the proposed number of people on the registration form, extra fees will be charged. The fee will depend on the agreement between the guest and manager in charge.
Villa Serenity has available one baby bed, please request on your booking.
In addition it has installed easy to access paths, bathrooms and rooms for the disadvantaged.
Pool:
Pool access is shared between villa 1&2 Serenity and Villa Yin Yang and the Yogabarn single rooms. The pool becomes private when there is a full rental of the 2 villas or by special agreement with the management.
Reminders:
- Please do not throw your toilet paper in the toilet, use the rubbish bin provided. This is to avoid blockage of our natural septic tank.
- Please switch off lights when leaving the room, the power available is limited and minimizing energy use decreases the chance that there will be a power cut.
- Save your work on laptops regularly, power cuts are common.
